In a nineteenth-century American border town, teacher Sally Maris arrives in Border City on the Missouri-Arkansas line, takes over her brother's saloon, and becomes connected with local figures including Delilah Courtney and Kate Quantrill. Allan Dwan directed this 1953 American Western starring John Lund, Joan Leslie, Brian Donlevy, and Audrey Totter; the surviving presentation uses later colorization.
