Jean Darnell plays an orphan who loves her guardian, although he is more interested in the visiting woman played by Florence La Badie. After both women are hospitalized following a road accident, the orphan makes a harmful choice and is troubled by her conscience. Theodore Wharton directed this 1912 American Thanhouser silent drama short.
