In a dream, the fisherman Yves travels beneath the sea in a submarine, encountering marine creatures, caverns, and dance scenes. Georges Méliès directed this 1907 French silent fantasy short, which playfully borrows imaginative elements from Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas; the surviving print is incomplete.
