On the Arizona frontier in the 1880s, young officer DeBuin leads a patrol tracking Ulzana after he leaves the reservation. Veteran scout McIntosh and Apache scout Ke-Ni-Tay join the mission, and the three men approach the frontier and their assignment from different perspectives. Robert Aldrich directed and Alan Sharp wrote this 1972 American Western starring Burt Lancaster, Bruce Davison, and Jorge Luke.
