English Introduction:
Set at Winston College for Women, the story follows student Stella Ames after she meets young anthropology professor James Gilmore and begins reconsidering campus life and her personal choices. Dorothy Arzner directed this 1929 American early sound romance starring Clara Bow, Fredric March, and Marceline Day. It was Bow's first all-dialogue film, and the surviving presentation uses later colorization.
