Released by MGM in 1951, this American Western drama was directed by Harold F. Kress and stars canine actor Pal, credited as Lassie, with Paul Kelly, Bruce Cowling, and Gary Gray. Adapted from Alexander Hull's novel Shep of the Painted Hills, it was MGM's seventh and final Lassie feature.
